Business Development Coordinator/Proposal Coordinator

Weris is looking to hire a Business Development/Proposal Coordinator to support our team in Sterling, VA.

Responsibilities include:


  • Organize meeting logistics, take meeting notes and track action items
  • Create and maintain marketing materials and sales presentations
  • Support research, correspondence drafting, document proofreading/editing
  • Track status of upcoming and in-process business development opportunities using established pipeline
  • Maintain contact data base
  • Manage and coordinate proposal files and documentation
  • Draft and edit compliant templates and documents in response to RFPs, requests for information, sources sought, and requests for capabilities statements.
  • Coordinate with staff to achieve proposal objectives in a timely manner and remain current on all amendments and modifications.
  • Provides support to technical writers; assist in formatting, figure insertion, etc.
  • Coordinate the insertion of draft changes from all team members for final text and graphics.
  • Maintain electronic files supporting these responsibilities for shared accessibility
  • Responsible for proposal production including word processing, graphics, proofreading, printing and binding
  • Interface with clients and/or partners as needed
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends, as needed, to ensure timely submission of proposals


Education & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree OR minimum of 5 years proven success in a similar support role
  • High-level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong writing, research, and communications skills
  • Knowledge of proposal development for the federal government desired
